Description:
It is a Polyurethane Based, Single
Component, Low Viscosity, Transparent
Primer.
Areas of Use:
It is used on the foundation and shear
concrete, concrete, plaster, plasterwork
surfaces as an adherence improving
primer material under polyurethanebased waterproofing materials, floor
coverings and topcoat paints.
Advantages:
• It is easy to apply.
• It dries in a short time.
• It reduces the water absorbency of the
concrete structure.
• It fills pores, non-structural cracks on the
surface.
• It perfectly covers the surface totally/
uniformly and homogeneously.
• It provides perfect cohesion with
absorbent surfaces.
Application Information:
Application Temperature: (+5°C) –
(+35°C)
Average Consumption: 0,150-0,250 kg/m²

50% relative humidity. Times may vary
depending on ambient conditions.
Surface Preparation:
-The surface must be clean and dry, and
free from oil, dirt, grease, coatings and
other dirt that will prevent adhesion.
-Large fractures and faults must be
repaired beforehand.
-The cement crust and glossy screed
sanding on the concrete surface should
be cleaned with tools such as a notching
machine, diamond drum wiping machine,
driven grinding, and the surface should be
roughened and wiped.
-The entire surface of the industrial
vacuum cleaner should be cleaned from
dust.
Mixture Preparation:
It is a ready to use material. Absolutely no
water should be added.
Application:
BOYTİM 951 Polyurethane Based Primer is
made ready for use by stirred by hand
or with a low-speed mixer. The surface
to be primed should be completely
covered with the help of a roller or
brush. It is recommended to use airless
spray on large surfaces. Polyurethane
waterproofing coating should be applied
after 2 – 4 hours.

Polyurethane Based Primer
application, ambient temperature
should be between +5°C and +35°C and
necessary precautions should be taken in
bad weather conditions.
-New concrete surfaces should be dried
for a minimum of 28 days.
-The moisture ratio of the application
surface should not exceed 4%.
-It contains solvent, and it is flammable. It
should not be approached with an open
flame.
-For optimum application, the primer
should not be allowed to be heated by the
sun or other heat sources.
-Applied surfaces should be protected
from water for 3-4 hours.
-The equipment used during the
application should be cleaned with a
suitable solvent immediately after the
application.
-It should be applied as a thin layer so
as not to form plash and ponding on the
ground. Puddled spills should be cleaned
with an absorbent cloth.
