Structural Repair Mortar
BOYTİM Repair S300

Description:
It is a cement-based, polymer, and fiber-reinforced, non-shrinking,
thixotropic structural repair mortar.
Areas of Use:
It can be used in the repair of reinforced concrete building elements,
protection of concrete against sulfate and chlorine effects, repair and
maintenance of marine structures, repair of surface defects and surface
levelling of concrete elements, obtaining an impermeable and solid layer
in exposed concretes, assembly of prefabricated concrete construction
elements, coatings exposed to light and medium weight load where
the special coating will be made and surface repair, waterproofing or
chamfering before final coating.
Advantages:
• It displays good performance with its high adherence.
• It is resistant to the freeze-thaw cycle.
• It has high compressive strength.
• It’s impermeable.
• It has a highly thixotropic structure.
• It is resistant to chlorine, sulfate, and oils
• Its shrinkage is blocked, it does not shrink.
Application Information :
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+30°C)
Mixing Ratio: 4 – 5 lt water / 25 kg powder
Usable Time: 30 minutes
Application Thickness: 10-45 mm
Average Consumption: 1,8-2,2 kg/m² (for 1 mm thickness)
*These values are valid for 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Times may
vary depending on ambient conditions.
Surface Preparation:
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil, paint
residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
The rust in the reinforcement should be cleaned, if necessary, new
reinforcement should be added.
If the surface has low adherence, broken, loose parts, these parts must
be removed from the surface.
-The edges of the surface formed by breaking should be cut as
perpendicular as possible.
-The floor should be dampened, moistened, and saturated with water.
Mixture Preparation:
25 kg of Boytim Repair S300 is slowly added to 4 – 5 liters of water. It is
stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with a low-speed mixer,
leaving no lumps. The mortar, which is rested for 5 minutes, is stirred
again before using and its homogeneity is checked.
Application:
The prepared mixture is applied on the surface with a thickness of 10-
45 mm with a trowel. In thicker applications, the second coat is applied
after the first coat dries. In cases where a smooth surface is desired, the
mortar is expected to absorb the water and the surface is smoothened
with a steel or wooden trowel by sprinkling water on the surface of the
shrunk mortar.
– The applied surfaces must be moistened within 12-24 hours.
The second humidification should be done 24 hours after the first
humidification. The surface should be moistened for 2-3 days.
The expired mortar should not be used.
Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
Should not be applied to surfaces which are directly exposed to sun and
wind without protective measures.
-Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of water
before drying.
Warnings:
Do not inhale the product directly, as it is cement-based. Avoid contact
with skin and eyes.
