Ready – Mixed Plaster
BOYTİM 155

Definition:
Cement-Based Ready-Mixed Plaster.
Areas of Use:
Can be applied on interior and exterior facades, roughcast,
reinforced concrete, panellized walls, brick, pumice, and briquette.
Advantages of the Product:
• Easy to apply.
• Easily adapts to the applied surface.
• High adhesion and durability provide a solid base for further
processes.
• Saves labor and time.
• Prevents loss of quality and efficiency due to problems with
dosing.
• Can be applied by machine or manually.

Application Details :
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+35°C)
Mixture Proportion: 6,5-7,5 lt water / 35 kg Powder
Application Thickness: 5–25 mm
Average Consumption: 15–18 kg/m² (for1 cm thickness)
*These values are valid for 23°C ve 50% relative humidity.
Preparation of the Surface:
– The application surface should be cleaned from dust, dirt, oil, paint
residue, and similar adherence-reducing foreign materials.
If there are defects (holes and cavities) on the surface, these
should be filled with
BOYTİM 155 at least 1 day in advance.
Plaster strips should be prepared with a plumb line and level at
intervals where they should be stricken- off where necessary. Plaster
Strips should be prepared at least one day prior.
Surfaces should be moistened with water before application.
Preparation of the Mixture:
Manual Preparation of the Mixture:
35 kg of BOYTİM 155 is added slowly to 6.5-7.5 liters of water. Mix
with a trowel or a low-speed mixer until a homogeneous mixture
with no lumps is obtained.
Preparation of the Mixture with Machinery:
When using a special plastering machine, BOYTİM 155 in powder
form should be placed in the hopper of the machine. The
consistency of the material is adjusted by the required amount
of water (6,5-7,5 lt water / 35 kg powder). The hose should be
removed and the first consistency of the material should be
observed at the outlet of the machine when adjusting the water.
Application:
In manual application, the mixture prepared is applied to the
surface and smoothed with spreading by a floating rule. When
the surface starts to harden (in approximately 4 hours), it should
be troweled in a circular motion without pressure with a serrated
trowel. For smooth surfaces, the surface should be wiped with a
damp sponge. Wiping with a sponge should be done immediately
after the troweling and the sponge should be cleaned frequently.
When applied with a machine, the material is sprayed onto the
surface from approximately 20 cm of distance. Smoothed by
spreading by a floating rule. Then the trowelling process started
with a serrated trowel.
Surfaces treated with BOYTİM 155 should be moisturized for 12 to 24
hours. A second moisturizing procedure should be performed 24
hours after the first one. The surface should be moisturized for 2 or
3 days.
Has a 5 – 25 mm application thickness.For applications thicker than
15 mm, a second coat should be applied.
To apply a coating, paint, etc. on the plastered surfaces, at least 7
days should pass after the application.
The surface should be finished from bottom to top to obtain a
smooth surface.
-Mesh should be used to prevent cracking at different joints such
as walls and columns, window and door edges, and on applications
thicker than 10 mm.
Plaster should not be applied at temperatures below 5°C.
Do not apply on surfaces under direct sunlight and wind without a
protective measure.
Do not mix any foreign ingredients into the mortar.
All tools used in the application should be washed with plenty of
water before the mixture dries.
Warnings:
Do not directly inhale as it is cement based. Avoid contact with the
skin and eyes.
