Surface Preparation:
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil,
paint residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
-If there are surface defects, roughness, and eyelet pores, they
should be repaired with BOYTİM 150 READY THIN PLASTER 1 day
beforehand.
-The floor should be dampened, moistened, and saturated with
water.
Mixture Preparation:
25 kg of BOYTİM 150 READY THIN PLASTER is slowly added to 5-6 liters
of water. Mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained to leave no
lumps with a trowel or a low-speed mixer.
The mortar is rested for 5 minutes and is then mixed again and
made ready for use.
Application:
The prepared mixture is applied on the surface with equal thickness
with a steel trowel. Gauged with an aluminum gauge. When the
surface starts to harden (in about 4 hours), it should be feathered
with circular movements and without pressure with a trowel. For
smooth surfaces, wipe with a damp sponge. Wiping should be done
immediately after feathering, and the sponge should be cleaned
frequently.
Surfaces, where BOYTİM 150 READY THIN PLASTER is applied, must
be moistened within 12-24 hours. The second humidification should
be done 24 hours after the first humidification. The surface should
be moistened for 2-3 days. Further irrigation increases material
performance.
– BOYTİM 150 READY THIN PLASTER should be applied layer by layer
in places requiring application thicker than 3 mm.
To apply coating, paint, etc. on surfaces where the plaster has been
applied, at least seven days should pass after the application of
plaster.
Should not be applied in temperatures below -5°C.
-It should not be applied on surfaces that are exposed to direct
sunlight and wind without taking protective measures.
-Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of
water before drying.
Warnings:
Do not breathe the product directly, as it is cement-based. Avoid
contact with skin and eyes.
