Thermal Insulation Board Plaster

BOYTİM 811

Description:
Cement-Based Polymer and Fiber Reinforced Thermal Insulation
Board Plaster
Areas of Use:
Used as plaster on indoor and outdoor surfaces on top of XPS, EPS,
rock wool in jacketing systems.
Advantages:
• Provides smooth surfaces for interior and exterior spaces.
• Adapts easily to the applied surface.
• Can be processed easily and for a long time.
• Has high flexibility due to polymer additives.
• Thanks to the fiber reinforcement, it absorbs minor stresses
originated by insulation materials. Does not crack.
Application Information:
Application Temperature: (+5°C) – (+35°C)
Mixing Ratio: 6-7 lt water / 25 kg powder
Usable period: 2 hours
Readjusting period: 20 minutes
Application Thickness: 1-5 mm
Average Consumption: 4–4.5 kg/m²
*These values are valid for 23°C and 50% relative humidity. Times
may vary depending on ambient conditions.
Surface Preparation:
-The application surface should be made clean from dust, dirt, oil,
paint residue, and similar foreign matters reducing adherence.
The thermal insulation board on which the application will be made
should be solid, well adhered to the surface, clean, and dry.
Gaps between the boards should be filled with insulation material
or foam.
Mixture Preparation:
25 kg BOYTİM 811 Thermal Insulation Board Plaster is slowly added to
6-7 lt water. Stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained with a
trowel or a low-speed mixer, leaving no lumps. The mortar which is
rested for 5 minutes is then stirred again and made ready for use.
Application:
Prepared plaster is applied to the surface with a steel trowel in 2-3
mm thickness. Plaster mesh is placed on top of applied material by
stretching from up to down. The second coat application is done
approximately 2-3 hours after this process.
– For eliminating cracking risk, glass-fiber mesh should be applied
by overlapping 10 cm on joints.

– Beams, corners, windows, and door frames should be reinforced
with additional glass-fiber.
– Corner profiles should be placed on beam, corner, window, and
door frames.
– At least 7 days should pass after the plaster application before
applying the coating, painting, etc. on plastered surfaces.
– The surface should be moistened at certain periods within 7 days
to increase the performance of the plaster.
– Should not be applied in temperatures below 5°C.
– Should not be applied to surfaces that are directly exposed to sun
and wind without protective measures.
– Foreign materials should never be mixed into the mortar.
-After application, all used tools should be washed with plenty of
water before drying.
Warnings:
Do not breathe the product directly, as it is cement-based. Avoid
contact with skin and eyes.
